LEADING U.S. PROVIDER OF COMMERCIAL
X-BAND CAPACITY

XTAR is a privately owned and operated company providing commercial services in the X-band frequency (7.25-8.4 GHz) through its two satellite payloads, XTAR-EUR and XTAR-LANT. XTAR is exclusively dedicated to serving the long-haul communications needs of U.S. and Allied military and government organizations. The high-powered global, fixed and steerable beams on XTAR's two payloads provide essential, flexible, real-time X-band capacity with coverage from Denver east to Singapore.

XTAR's unique satellite system supports the critical communications requirements of multi-national governments, military, diplomatic, and civilian government agencies.

Government (X-band) frequencies are covered under Status of Forces agreements, which facilitate XTAR's utilization by U.S. and Allied government groups and humanitarian organizations. XTAR's services are designed to be fully compatible with Wideband Global SATCOM and legacy Department of Defense (DoD) SATCOM terminals, supporting stationary and mobile warfighters in the air, on the ground and at sea and under severe weather conditions.

XTAR is a joint venture between Loral Space & Communications and HISDESAT. Headquartered in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area, XTAR has offices in Madrid, Spain and Palo Alto, California.
